Yeah, I said I wouldn't but I couldn't hold back. The year in music was comparatively above average from a rock stand point even though the genre was relatively ignored by the national media and the general public. Thank god for the bloggers to keep evil alive.
It's also the first year since 2009 I wasn't a regular on WQFS, my platform to spread the message. Although my sources were limited and a lot of what you see also appear on the "popular" year end lists, there was still enough redeeming quality of work to recognize some of those on the fringe.
